Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts in journalism and
communication science, (University of Tunis / Institute of Press and
Communication Sciences, 1989). As a requirement for obtaining this degree, he
submitted a research entitled: "readability of media discourse in the Arab
press : formulation of an Arabic measurement instrument."
- A compulsory degree in Moroccan and
Islamic Sociology (!st
University of Tunis / College of Humanities and Social Sciences, 1991).
- A Compulsory degree in social psychology
(1st
University of Tunis / College of Humanities and Social Sciences, 1992). These
degrees were compulsory to follow high studies program in sociology.

Third : scientific experience
since 5/11/2000, he served at the
University
of Taiz / Faculty of Arts-Department of Sociology as assistant professor. He
worked as head of the Section from 13/1/2003 until early next academic year.
After five consecutive years, he stopped working in Yemen.
Subjects he taught at the university:
-sociology and Moroccan Islamic (the
concept of the State of the Moroccan thinker Abdullah Al-`Erwee. In addition
to political growth as well as the concept of political heritage and the
concept of civil society, issues of globalization, secularism, national and
leftist ideology and thought).
- Social science of communication
(theories of communication, information and mass media. Surveys on readability
of information and scientific text, theories of social change through mass
media , such as theories of individual and collective differences, social
relations and psychological analysis, mental, cognitive and biological models,
concepts of public opinion and referendum, content analysis.
- Cognitive
social science (parts of books by the Arab scholar Maan Khalil Omar, the
Lebanese
sociologist Frederick Ma`touk "evolution
of social science " , many Western sociologists: German sociologist Karl
Mannheim "ideology and utopia", the French sociologist George Gurovic " social
frames of knowledge "of individuals, groups and society. - Urban Sociology
(historical urbanization in Europe and the United States of America and Latin
American and Asian cities and the rise of the global city and transition from
social issue to the urban issue, and social problems accompanying transition,
as well as the issue of urbanization in the Arab communities, including the
Gulf societies, problems of urban research in the third world and Arab
societies ... ).
- rural sociology, in addition to the
emergence of science in the early twentieth century .Concepts of colonialism,
rural, agricultural situation and Bedouin societies. Theoretical differences
between the concepts of rural society and agricultural society, the theory of
patterns of production and partition theory applied to tribal communities
between
Sudan
and the
Maghreb
countries ..). I also taught impacts of the problems of rapid urbanization on
rural Arab regions, historic means of access to land ownership, farming in
Arab societies, especially during the Ottoman rule, European colonialism, and
the provisional Ottoman land law and the types of land and ways to dispose of
it.
- Social Psychology (roles theories and
social roles, and the socio-metric theory or measuring social relations and
the theory of groups dynamics and leadership, as well as the birth of
historical social psychology and its relationship with anthropology.
- Introduction to social theory. (concept
of theory, the historical facts of the birth of sociology starting from Ibn
Khaldoun to San Simon and August, need to explain the science of social
phenomena, as well as the central concepts used by science and its different
themes, etc. ... and the historical antagonism between Dorkheim and Gabriel
Tard .
- traditional social theory (San Simon,
August, Emile Durkheim, socio-biological school ,Herbert Spencer, the
functional and structural school, San Simon ,Talcott Parsons and
anthropologists like Radcliff Brown and Malenovsky leading to Robert Merton`s
new functionality. I also taught Karl Marx`s theory of Marxism.)
- modern social theory (of Ralph Daherndov
"theory of social conflict", which emerged from the functional and Marxist
theory, works of Claude Levi Strauss and the theory of Pierre Bourdieu. I also
taught sociology dynamic theories through the work of Alan Turin, George
Balandier Alfrdoeh, theory and methodology of Raymond Budon, and the theory of
symbolic interaction anthropologist George Herbert Mead).

social theory as a historic event. )
- Modern History of the European political
thought (brief introduction on the old European political history. The modern
history focuses on the conflict between the church and society and between the
Church and the government, the division of church and sectarian conflict since
the era of Martin Luther, then Machiavelli views on the government, views of
British philosophers triumph of the British Revolution and then the views of
the French philosophers until the victory of the French Revolution and thus
the emergence of civil society and the rule of law).
